Jackson Nathaniel Teller, better known as Jax Teller, is the main protagonist of the FX TV series Sons of Anarchy and one of the overarching protagonist in the spin-off TV series Mayans MC.
He is the son of John Teller and Gemma Maddock, stepson of Clay Morrow, husband of Tara Knowles, and father of Abel and Thomas II Teller. He was the president of SAMCRO, a motorcycle club based in Charming, California, and attempted to not fall into extreme brutality while leading the club while also trying to protect his family from his enemies. As the series progresses, Jax becomes more brutal and ruthless, but he comes to the realization of his actions and decides to tie up loose ends before committing suicide.
He was portrayed by Charlie Hunnam.
