Jayna is one of the major protagonists of DC vs Vampires comic book limited series. She and her twin brother Zan came to Earth become superheroes of Wonder Twin until her brother was killed by Hal Jordon and seek vengeance for Zan death.

Biography

Jayna in Hall of Justice ask them where her brother she can't find him anywhere. Hal tries cheer her up (which he the one who kill Zan) and Jayna think Booster Gold right they are not together pour in tears she wants think over it. After the find The Flash middle of beach took the body Batman and Jayna stay behind. Batman investigator in sewer when he knows Jayna following him and ask her why to follow him, she tells him her brother down here he tells her to go home but she can't what to know. Batman explains that when Andrew Bennet arrives here until he mystery vanished whiteout track right before Zan is missing. Jayna thinks her brother went somewhere with Bennet Batman answer no he found two trace Hall infirmary, and someone clean them up one vampire and other is alien put them in sink goes with pipes down into sewer Jayna still senses down in water somewhere she wants help Batman finish search with Batman. They search the down the sewer until Jayna sense him right their Batman goes drive unfortunately, he finds his remind of one finger Jayna breaks down in tears then later in angry that demanding that who killed her brother Batman know answer that he didn't can't by Metal it was the light.

Many months later the vampires took over the earth all most heroes all fallen or killed. Jayna started hunting the vampire killed 211 so far until she spotted survivor and attack and killed by vampires Director Bones last one standing Firestrom ask him where the secrets city they going Bones know talking about FireStrom he think carefully that for saving himself he say same thing but it too late for him he behind attack by Jayna put stake his back thought his chest cost nuke to explosion. Jayna survives attack goes out until call by Bones just his skull left of him, he asks her to take a car drive out there. As two high tails out their little chat and Jayna saying that her brother wanted to be a hero and saving people and after he gone, she can't who trust anymore Mr. bones give her word a advice that they do must have to do they take away from us want to be hero she become they arrive location, but Mr. bones pass away. Jayna see Killer Croc ready attack him if he vampires Croc ask her the password she didn't know only reason she come because Mr. bones tell her do he came out the water couldn't say that early give "bottle" she think what drink until Atom Ryan Choi pop out in bottle question where everyone else unfortunately they were ambushed John just use magic to protect him would able hurt him before mission complete. Atom checks the back of car if he pulled it off until Supergirl in back car whole time even Jayna doesn't know that. While Croc carry her Jayna argue at here that she just could have fought there then all no people to die Croc back off tell Look up in sky Ryan explain to her that without Sun light she just Kara plus she not a heavy hitter she symbol of hope with all that they ready goes back in bottle they transport and Croc goes back into water. Remind heroes hiding away on bottle of Kryptonian were found after Dick Grayson order his commander to kill every last one of them. They had a meeting at how fight back and regain the Earth Batgirl want to kill King vampires, but green arrow want freed of the people of Blood farm from Smallville and Doctor Fate to get Supergirl into the Sun so she to get charger enough to clear the smoke, so they divide each plan they need to go.

They all out fighting and Aqauman know that not real Black Manta he dies as coward then it raveled that his wife Mera. While two couple fighting the other fighting royal guard when Arthur come out the water greeting Kara he asking her to join us like her cousin Kal-el (which he unwilling turn into vampire) Jayna goes sneak attack water bear from but he know that coming and dismiss her Steel hit him in his face that won't working but take time until Mera arrive and goes after him ship got destroy and Kara got caught with rope in water about downing.

Steel saved her and made though Australia he gives her mouth to mouth and woke her up but it knows was Jayna use water from on her lungs so Kara had little oxygen. Trio finally made now need to get Supergirl in the rocket she goes attack is not vampire but aliens. They are doing dirty works for vampires so won't Interplanetary thus they can't feed or turn them Maritain Manhunt warn Dick that over hundreds of aliens would cost in galactic crisis exchange he send every alien back to home planet as long they steer clear away from Earth. They encounter Lobo Steel question if he one of vampires' then Supergirl making deal of him to helping her get in rocket ship. They arrive the location then until Maritain Manhunt and Miss Maritain is something problem, he tells them no problem only told them bribed him for sneak onto ship Steel call him a traitor he didn't betray just interesting. After Manhunt done with Steel, he come get Supergirl telling her that he become more powerful than ever Jayna warns him to stay back he tell her is not her fight thus she will send back home but first Kara want to join them or until he remove coat is not her is Jayna Water not, he not only one she also become powerful as well. He realizes that know she on the ship he is ordering them to take down the ship before she sees then sun the ship blow up and probably along with her.

• In DC vs. Vampires, a subtle character inconsistency emerges when Booster Gold seems insensitive to Jayna's concern about her twin brother Zan. This could be considered a script error given Booster Gold's own experience of losing his twin sister and should actually show clear empathy for Jayna's situation.
