Biography[]
Jefferson was a metahuman and seeked out by Barry Allen and Martin Stein as a compatible replacement of the recently deceased Ronnie because the dark matter wave from the particle accelerator explosion changed his body's molecular structure in a way that made him one of two perfect matches to Stein. At first Jefferson refuses, but he agrees to merge with Stein and team up with him after they had been attacked by a former candidate, Dr. Henry Hewitt. Soon they both became the new Firestorm.
Soon, he and Stein were recruited by a time traveler named Rip Hunter, who is recruited superheros and supervillains in order to defeat and destroy Vandal Savage, an ancient archenemy of Carter Hall & Kendra Saunter (who are two of the recruits. Jefferson worked as an engineer of the timeship that Hunter captained. Since then, Jefferson and the other supers including, Stein, Sara Lance, Leonard Snart, Mick Rory, Carter Hall, Kendra Saunders, & Ray Palmer became known as the Legends.
