Jenny Allen, in a dystopian future governed by the Sovereign, as the children of Barry Allen (The Flash) and Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern), assume the roles of Green Lanterns.
The twins utilize their abilities in accordance with their emotions, radiating with the spectrums they experience. She and her twin brother Jason have taken their mother's powers to the next level, and they don't even need rings. Jenny has a stronger affinity for the White Light of Life compared to her brother.
Appearance[]
Jenny and Jason's sense of fashion is heavily influenced by Star Wars, as they often don ragged clothes in a style reminiscent of the franchise. Jenny wears a hooded cloak, and her shirt proudly displays the symbol of the Green Lanterns. Her preferred outfit includes white elements, reflecting her affinity for the clear energy and the more passive side of the twins.
Jenny is a teenage girl with light-brownish hair or auburn tones. Like her twin brother, Jason, she has bright lantern-like eyes.
Personality[]
Jenny is the more emotional of the twins, often letting her emotions manifest in her powers and causing them to become unstable. Only her twin brother, Jason, has the ability to calm her down and stabilize her. Due to traumatic events, the twins have faced significant challenges, but they fought bravely alongside the Justice League and were instrumental in the combat.
History[]
In an alternate future, Jenny Allen, the third child of The Flash (Barry Allen) and Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, grows up alongside her siblings and the children of the Justice League. Together with her siblings, Jenny is transported to the present time in order to seek her parents' help in saving their apocalyptic future. Jenny and her twin brother, Jason, have gained unique abilities connected to the Lantern Light through their link with Jessica Cruz. Unlike traditional lantern bearers, they have unrestricted access to various colors of the emotional spectrum.
As their powers are constantly in flux, Jenny and Jason's emotional states determine which aspect of the Emotional Spectrum they can tap into at any given moment. When a group of villains known as the Membros summons an entity called the Darkness to Earth, the twins play a vital role in defeating this malevolent force. Jenny discovers her connection to the White Lantern power associated with life and death, while Jason taps into the Black Lantern power. Although Jenny initially struggles to control her newfound abilities, she ultimately deals a significant blow to the Darkness, helping to eradicate it.
After the battle, the Justice League views the twins as temporal anomalies but agrees to let them continue existing. Spending time with their parents and the Justice League enables Jenny and Jason to gain mastery over their powers. They eventually return to their own time as improved heroes, ready to continue their story in the future and fulfill their destinies.
Powers and Abilities[]
Emotional Spectrum Manipulation: Similar to his brother, Jennifer possesses a direct connection to the entire Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum, even without the use of a power ring. This enables him to tap into and manipulate various colors of emotional energy. He has demonstrated the ability to create Hard Light Constructs of Lights, indicating the potential to wield other colors of the emotional spectrum.
The Emotional Spectrum is a vast and diverse range of energies a breakdown of the different colors and their associated emotions:
- Red/Rage: Represents the emotion of anger and rage. Wielded by the Red Lantern Corps, it taps into the wearer's rage but comes at a cost to their well-being.
- Orange/Avarice: Symbolizes greed and avarice. The Orange Lantern Corps, led by Larfleeze, harnesses this energy, but its wielders become consumed by their own greed.
- Yellow/Fear:Signifies fear and is wielded by the Sinestro Corps. Those capable of instilling fear in others can tap into this power.
- Green/Will: Represents willpower and serves as the central color of the spectrum. The Green Lantern Corps, led by the Guardians of the Universe, draws upon this energy to battle evil and uphold order.
- Blue/Hope: Symbolizes hope and can be wielded by those who inspire hope in others. The Blue Lantern Corps assists the Green Lanterns in their mission.
- *Indigo/Compassion: Represents compassion and can manipulate the other energies of the spectrum. The Indigo Tribe wields this power.
- Violet/Love: Signifies love and is wielded by the Star Sapphire Corps. Those capable of great love can tap into this energy, but it also possesses a parasitic nature.
Additionally, there are two colors outside the main spectrum:
- Black/Death: Represents death and the absence of emotion. The Black Lantern Corps, led by Nekron, seeks to extinguish all life in the universe.
- White/Life: The origin of the Emotional Spectrum. The white light of life has the power to resurrect the dead and create lasting constructs. It is connected to all living things.
- Invisible Spectrum: The Invisible Spectrum exists beyond the familiar Emotional Spectrum, encompassing Ultraviolet energy that draws power from deep-rooted primal emotions. It is among the seven secret forces hidden by the Source Wall. Acting as a counter-energy to the Emotional Spectrum, the Invisible Spectrum is wielded by the Ultraviolet Corps, guided by the entity known as Umbrax. There is also an Invisible Spectrum, which includes Ultraviolet, a hidden force that feeds on buried primal emotions. The Ultraviolet Corps wields this energy.
The future Lanterns demonstrate that the Emotional Spectrum is not rigidly defined, and the twins bring a fresh perspective to their mothers' powers, expanding the possibilities of what can be achieved with emotional energies.
Flight: Jenny has the ability to fly, allowing him to maneuver freely through the air.
Energy Transference: She can transfer energy from one source to another, either for defensive purposes or to empower himself or others.
Energy Construct Creation: Jenny has the power to create solid constructs made of energy. These constructs can take various forms depending on his emotions and intentions.
Force Field: She can generate protective force fields that shield him and others from harm.
Energy Projection: Jenny is capable of projecting energy blasts or beams, which he can use offensively against his enemies. Jennifer and Jason Allen are not even limited to the normal Green Lantern Corps powers, as they can tap into the abilities of the White Lantern and Black Lantern rings when necessary. These powers grant them control over life and death, allowing them to harness the energies associated with those aspects. Their unique connection to the emotional spectrum allows them to unleash their powers in extraordinary ways, with their emotions playing a significant role in the manifestation and utilization of their abilities.
Trivia[]
- Are similarities between the case of Alan Scott's twin children, Jade and Obsidian, and that of Jenny and Jason Allen. Just like Jade and Obsidian inherited their father's powers as future Green Lanterns, Jenny and Jason also possess exceptional abilities related to the emotional spectrum without the need for power rings. These abnormal powers could be a direct manifestation of the legacy of the Green Lanterns. Just as Jade and Obsidian experienced, the twins' powers can be influenced by their emotions, Jade's innate ability to protect herself from a pervert as a child, and Obsidian's feelings of his violent and disapproval adoptive father unlocking new aspects and capabilities. With proper guidance and training, Jenny and Jason can harness the full potential of their powers and become formidable heroes in their own right.
