While his wife, Queen Sindel and his only daughter, Princess Kitana, are both captured by Shao Kahn. Soon after, Jerrod died in Shao Kahn's hands made a profound impact in Sindel and Kitana's long lives in the franchise. His appearance is unknown because it has never been clearly shown in the game, but because he is from Edenia, he is assumed to be human and has lived for a long time.
A statue of a beheaded can be found in the Edenia realm. The face looks like a beard man. When the player talks to nearby non-player characters (they are residents of Edenia), they are say: "This statue is King Jerrod, who ruled Edenia many thousands of years ago."
