Jessica Day is the main heroine of the FOX TV show, New Girl. She takes the role as the school teacher of W.R. Hearst Middle School.
She is portrayed by Zooey Deschanel.
Personality[]
Jessica is a clumsy, sweet, and bubbly person who tends to help her students and her friends by any means possible. Although her need to help her friends is admirable, it can interfere with her ability to do her job as vice-principal. In the second season, she has grown into a more complex character who's quirks are only a part of her character, similar to the others, as opposed to the only thing about her.
