“ | Donatello: But from what you said, how do you know Moriah will fight fairly? Jhanna: It is a chance I will have to take. She approaches. Donatello: Can't you just tell your people she tried to ambush you? Get her disqualified or something? Jhanna: No. This is our way. My honor is at stake. I will face her, alone. |

~ Jhanna on her duel with Moriah. |
Jhanna is a minor character in the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, appearing in the episode "The People's Choice". She is an alien warrior chosen to challenge Moriah, the evil ruler of their homeworld, for the leadership.
She was voiced by Lisa Ortiz, who also voiced Lina Inverse in Slayers and Amy Rose in Sonic X.
History[]
Jhanna was elected by her people to fight Moriah in single combat to determine the next leader. If Jhanna won, she would take Moriah's place as ruler, but if not Moriah would continue exercising power. As Jhanna was traveling to Earth, where the duel was arranged to take place, her vessel was shot down by Moriah and crashed near Casey Jones' farmhouse in Northampton. Emerging in a giant robotic mechanism, she encountered the Turtles, mistaking them as Moriah's minions, and fought them. The Turtles defeated her and took Jhanna out of the robot to camp.
The next morning, Raphael and Michelangelo accidentally woke her up. Jhanna briefly clashed with the Turtles, until learning they meant no harm. Jhanna fixed her dislocated arm by slamming it against a tree and explained her purpose to the Turtles. When the Turtles offer to help her, Jhanna insisted she must fight alone to preserve to honor, even if Moriah would not fight fairly. She stuck a beacon into the ground, signaling Moriah, who brought a group of four monsters to take down Moriah instead. Jhanna charged towards Moriah, but the monsters subdued her and were about to kill her until the Turtles intervened. Donatello saved her from one of the monsters. After that, another monster threw Jhanna through some trees and she was knocked out. She awoke as Moriah walked over her to finish her off. The two engaged in swordfight and then hand-to-hand combat. At the end of the battle, Jhanna defeated Moriah. She chose not to kill her and captured her in a stasis bubble instead, before using up her energy.
While Jhanna and the Turtles were sleeping by the campfire that night, her people had sent a force to retrieve her. A brilliant light awoke her and a disembodied voice told her to go home. Before departing, Jhanna cut her braided ponytail and left it as a memento for the Turtles.
