Jiang Qin (Chinese: 蔣欽) is a character in the 14th-century Chinese classic novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by the late Luo Guanzhong, and its multiple adaptations. He is one of the generals of Sun Ce and later Sun Quan.

History[]

Jiang Qin is a warrior who served under Sun Quan, although he is good at archery and Zhou Tai as a river thief active in the Yangtze River area. Sun Ce left Yuan Shu and Jiangdong to stand on his own, he and Zhou Tai together led the crowd. When Sun Ce attacked Liu Yao and led the three generals Chen Heng, Xue Li, and Zhang Ying in the city, Chen Heng was shot by Jiang Qin, then he and Han Dang would cross the river and shoot the enemy forces.

Later on, Jiang Qin participating in the Battle of Chibi with Zhou Tai, Han Dang led the water army to break the most enemies. At the Battle of the Nanjun, he was ordered to attacked Cao Ren, but it was defeated by Cao Ren and Niu Jin. Zhou Yu intends to scream Jiang Qin and the public will ask for helped. During the battle of Jing Province, Lu Meng deployed Han Dang, Jiang Qin, Zhu Ran, Pan Zhang, Zhou Tai, Xu Sheng, Ding Feng, and other generals to launch a surprise attacked.

Guan Yu lost to Wei general Xu Huang and rescued the armies, he failed in Fan Castle, he led the army back to Jing Province. On the road, Jiang Qin and Guan Yu against each other and lost, Guan Yu intends to withdraw with his troops, However, Han Dang and Zhou Tai on the left and right sides of the hills were killed, Jiang Qin returns to the horse and Wu forces is surrounded by Guan Yu.
