| “ | No matter how many times I say it, people always forget — cooking is medicine, and making medicine is cooking. Using food to treat the sick is my specialty. As the saying goes, a chef who doesn't want to be a healer isn't worth his salt... or pepper, for that matter. | „ |
| ~ Jiaoqiu explaining his healing philosophy. |
Lieutenant Jiaoqiu is a playable supporting character in the 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail.

A genius alchemist hailing from an affluent Alchemy Commission family, Jiaoqiu believed that the best method for administering medicine was through healthy meals. Though he lost his passion for healing after experiencing war first hand, he returned to duty to cure Feixiao of the genetic condition "Moon Rage."

Powers[]
- Foxian Physiology: Jiaoqiu was a member of the foxians, a sentient fox-like humanoid species known for their cunning and deceitfulness. Since ancient times, the cells of the foxians were infused with the power of the Aeon of Abundance Yaoshi. Yaoshi's power altered the foxian physiology, resulting in their bodies harboring a large amount of stems cells. The stems cells were powerful enough to provide foxians with limited regenerative qualities, allowing them to recover from physical wounds quicker than humans as well as completely stagnating their aging process once they reached their physical prime. Once foxians reached a certain age however, usually between two hundred and four hundred years old, the amount of stem cells their body produced began to reduce until their regenerative powers declined. Once a foxian's regenerative powers declined, their bodies began to deteriorate rapidly from the aging process and they would die within a relatively short amount of time.
