Jill Munroe is a fictional character, played by the late Farrah Fawcett in the first season of Charlie's Angels (1976–1977). Jill was the "Athletic Angel".
Background[]
Just like Sabrina Duncan Jill was a police officer before joining the Charlie Townsend Detective Agency. Jill had graduated from Los Angeles Police Academy but wasn't happy with the desk job she got at the LAPD. She jumped at the opportunity for more exciting work in the field as undercover detectives and became one of the three founding members of Charlie's Angels.
However, Jill leaves the Townsend Agency after one year, for an even more adrenaline-charged pursuit, to be a racecar driver. She recommends her little sister Kris (played by Cheryl Ladd) to takes her place in the Angels. Jill does appear from time to time to help the Angels – three episodes in season three and another three episodes in season four.
