James "Jimmy" Tong is the protagonist of the 2002 spy action comedy The Tuxedo.
He is portrayed by Jackie Chan, who also portrayed Inspector Lee in the Rush Hour franchise.
Biography[]
Jimmy is a cab driver who was later given a job to work as a secret agent. Jimmy worked for playboy millionaire Clark Devlin. Jimmy Tong was given one rule to never touch Devlin's Tuxedo. Jimmy takes Devlin to go get food before they were chased by a skateboard that held a bomb. Jimmy manages to escape from the explosion before Devlin was taken to the hospital after from an injury from the explosion. Jimmy tries on the tuxedo and discovers it special abilities.
