John Napoleon Darling is Wendy's younger brother, and Michael's older. He and Tiger Lily share a kiss while in the Black Castle, and it gives John enough strength to haul the gate open.
History[]
John is first seen playing pirates alongside his brothers and hearing Wendy's fairy tales alongside Michael and Nana. In the evening with Aunt Millicent they argue about growing up and he, Wendy and Michael are reluctant to do so and after a difficult day and their father's decision to force Wendy to grow up, Peter Pan together in Tinker Bell they come to see them and invite them to Neverland.
Over there John and Michael find themselves lost in the jungle, chased by the crocodile who ate the hand of a hook, ended up in a Tiger Lily trap hanging upside down with their butt naked and then kidnapped with Tiger Lily by Hook and his men. John then falls in love with Tiger Lily with a kiss on the mouth she gives him and he gains strength to pull up the big gate of an abandoned castle.
After a party with the Indians, it seems that John and Michael no longer remember their parents, and Wendy makes him reason and now John wants to go home, but then the children are kidnapped by the pirates. Peter flies to rescue them, and after Wendy shows him true feelings about him, John is overjoyed and after Hook's death they return home to hug their parents again.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Flight (via Pixie Dust): After meeting Peter, he sprinkles Tinkerbell’s pixie dust which grants John the ability to fly due to his faith and trust.
- Affection Empowerment: After escaping the wrist cuffs, John attempts to twist the spin wheel to open the gate but was interrupted by a pirate who was defeated by help from his brother and punches him into the water. This causes Tiger Lily to kiss on the mouth giving him strength to pull up the big gate alone.
- Swordsmanship: When escaping the pirates, John alongside the others pick up swords to fight their way through the ship.
