John Morris one of the two playable main protagonists (along side Eric Lecarde) of 1994 action adventure video game Castlevania: Bloodlines. The son of the late Quincy Morris who inherited the Vampire Killer from the Belmonts during their absent, John join forces with his fellow childhood friend Eric in an attempt to prevent Dracula returns once again.

Background[]
John was a member of the Morris Clan who inherited the Vampire Killer from the Belmont Clan at the time. His father was a vampire hunter who stopped Dracula put paid with his life, leaving a young John alone with his mother to raise.
Several years passed, Dracula's return is now set in motions again. John took it upon himself and his childhood friend to prevent the dark lord return once and for all.
Bloodlines[]
In 1917, John begins his trials and take down multiple vampires located in Germany. He advanced to Bistritz and sees his late father's tomb again, briefly before finding out that there's monsters which also present in the town itself. He began his investigation with his fellow friend right to the castle of the dark lord.
By both the efforts of John and Eric, they take down Elizabeth and Drolta right at the heights of Castle Proserpina. John confront the great dark lord and send him back to his tomb, preventing the return of Dracula and ensuring the peace of Europe for years later to come. However, unknown to John at the time, his heroic actions will come the cost of his own life for ages later.
Epilogue and Fate[]
Many years since his victory against Dracula, John lives declines with no true end to it. He bear a son named Johnathan Morris but resented from teaching him the techniques of the Vampire Killer. He dies sometimes later as his son learned that his father's actions was ultimately in the end to protect him from the potential pain of the Belmont whip.

- John's backstory as he is a childhood friend with Eric's seems to be inconsistent as each versions feature a different background for him.
- He is the first and currently the only protagonist in the main series to get killed as other characters fates are not confirmed after their game.
