John Strangways is the posthumous overarching protagonist in 007’s movie Dr. No. He is a fictional British spy.
He was played by the late Timothy Moxon and voiced by the late Robert Rietty.
History[]
He is first seen playing a game of cards with RJ Dent and two other men at a country club in Kingston, Jamaica. He pretends to make a call apologizing for the intermission, when he is actually contacting MI6 as he is a British spy.
In the parking lot he is attacked by The Three Blind Mice assassins, who kill him and take his body away.
James Bond was tasked with investigating the Strangways murder, so he discovers that Strangways was important, as he was researching the rocks on Dr. Julius No's Crab Key Island and that RJ Dent was hiding the evidence.
