Jougorou Kobato is the titular main protagonist of the mystery light novel and anime series Shoushimin Series. He is the best friend of his female classmate, Yuki Osanai.
He is voiced by Shūichirō Umeda in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Jougorou is a slender teenage boy with a tall and slim physique with short, slightly messy black hair with bangs that fall over his right eye. His eyes are blue, giving him a calm or introspective look. His attire consists of a traditional black gakuran Japanese school uniform, including a high-collared jacket with gold buttons down the front and matching black pants and black shoes.
Personality[]
Jougorou portrays himself as respectful and humble, usually composed as he seeks to be as ordinary of a person as he can alongside Yuki. Although not a popular student, Jougorou possesses outstanding deduction skills to predict and analyze past situations that he has came across. He reflects himself into situations of others in his imagination, especially the thieves the incidents. Due to the desire to be "ordinary", Jougorou has high morality and moves on from events even if some are frustrating. This can be shown by his choice of trying to convince Yuki to forget about the immoral act of one of their classmate, Sakagami, who stole her bike and ruined her tarts, even leading her to be called to the school's office after he bike was found alone and be criticized. Unlike Yuki, Jougorou had a different view in response to the situation, suggesting her to act as if this never happened.
