Juanín Juan Harry is one of the main characters in 31 Minutos. In the program, he plays the role of producer of the newscast and coordinator of the first floor of the studio, making sure that everything goes well.
History[]
The last of his kind and orphan since childhood, he was found by Tulio and Bodoque when they were walking through the forest and they got lost, in times when they were scouts in the Apumanque Pack . Seeing that he only knew how to say "Juanín" , they chose to call him that. From there they became friends.
Juanín would be raised in an orphanage, where he characterized as the most orderly and helpful child, he also considered a caregiver as his mother figure, calling her aunt and helping her to pick up the dishes from the table where they ate (as shown in end of Episode 48: Mom ). Apparently, Juanín also wet the bed, something that makes him ashamed when his caregiver asks him if it was still happening.
As an adult and thanks to the closeness with his two friends, Juanín became the producer and floor coordinator on the 31 Minutos newscast , making sure that everything was correct to broadcast the program on air.
He's introverted, cuddly, innocent, workaholic, and often does all the show work. Often times, the other characters take advantage of his naivety and hold parties at his house that always end at dawn. He adores the show and idolizes Tulio , even though he treats him like a servant. He has never had a vacation in his life, preferring to spend his free time doing canal work, perhaps fearing that at any moment something unexpected or bad will happen, and there is no one to do something about it.
Personality[]
Juanín is a very shy character, to the extent that in his first appearance as a character, he faints when Tulio passes him to the front to lead the program. He is very tender and noble but his naivety makes him an easy target for manipulative people like Uncle Pelado . He is very sensitive and gets sad very easily.
Juanín is incredibly hardworking and rarely rests. For him, work is an addiction and he is always looking for something to be busy with. His character makes children see him as a tender character and despite being naive, he is a good example to be followed by the hard worker.
