Julian Albert Desmond is a major character of Season 3 in the TV series The Flash.
He is portrayed by Tom Felton, who also portrayed both Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and Patrick in The Apparition, and also voiced Grey in Sheep & Wolves.

Julian gets manipulated by Savitar with visions from his dead sister telling him to find the Philosopher's stone, After he find the Philosopher's Stone he gets possessed by Savitar who makes him kill his colleague's.
Three years later he would work at CCPD solving meta human crime's.
Savitar's influence[]
When he was possessed by Savitar, he would lead the church of Savitar also giving Magenta her powers and would also give Wally dreams eventually becoming true causing Wally to fall to the ground twitching, after Wally is imprisoned for his safety by team flash, Alchemy would contact him again promising he would end the visions and dreams and give him his speed back then Wally says he wants him and his disciples gone realising its a trap he calls his followers back the Flash then speeds into the room using chains to chain up Alchemy's followers, then Alchemy picks up the nearby Philosphor's stone and continuously blasts Barry. Saying that he will not stand between 'what must be' he is then surrounded by the Swat team and gets shot by Joe and falls to the ground dropping the Philosopher's stone, Alchemy then says that none of them have any idea of what's about to begin, then Savitar speeds into the room killing the SWAT team and freeing Alchemy's followers, in the resulting chaos he telepathically urges Wally to pick up the Philosopher's stone, Wally is then ingulfed by an energy column, after this Alchemy picks up the Philosopher's stone and runs away, Although he is shot at by Joe he still manages to get away. Days later it is revealed that Alchemy is a split personality of Julian Albert of the CCPD, when leaving the hospital due to an attack of Killer Frost. He encounters Savitar urging him to become Alchemy.
Breaking free from Savitar's control[]
After the Flash put the Philosopher's Stone back in the box he regains consciusness at first refusing to admit being Alchemy after the Flash leaves his cell he later asks Julian if he had Blackouts. Julian refuses to answer until the Flash unmasks himself as Barry Allen, finally gaining Julian's trust with the latter explaining how he found the Philospher's stone in the first place. He then realizes to his horror that he is Alchemy and helps Team Flash dispose of the stone in the Speed Force.
Joining Team Flash[]
With the Philosopher's stone gone, Julian officially joins Team Flash and starts helping them stop the metahumans he created as Alchemy. He also starts a romance with Caitlin and even gave her a necklace that suppresses her Killer Frost side.
After learning that Harry Wells from Earth-2 was kidnapped by Grodd, Julian joins Barry, Cisco and Caitlin in rescuing him despite not even knowing Harry at all. Their efforts result in them captured too and manage to escape, but Grodd leads the ape army to invade Earth-1's Central City before being defeated by Solevar.
Losing Caitlin[]
When a meta-human called Abra Kadabra attacks Central City, he invades S.T.A.R Labs and fatally stabs Caitlin. Despite the team's efforts to medically treat Caitlin, Julian was eventually forced to take the necklace off so that her powers would heal her. Unfortunately, Killer Frost takes over and destroys the necklace before they can put it back on her. She lures Julian into almost kissing her, but Cisco stops her knowing it would freeze Julian to death after having already seen the effect on Barry. Killer Frost then escapes and joins Savitar against her former friends.
Stopping Savitar[]
When Barry learns that Savitar is his future time remenant, Julian assists the team in building a device that would block out Barry's memories so Savitar can't know everything Barry does; however, the process accidentally gives Barry amnesia and Killer Frost temporarily rejoins the team to restore Barry's memories, which they eventually do.
After Savitar is defeated and Caitlin regained control of herself, the Speed Force began destroying Central City due to needing a speedster to keep it contained. Barry then vounteers to go into the Speed Force at the cost of possibly never coming home again, saving the city.
Months later, it's revealed that Julian left Team Flash and returned to England.
