Junichirou Kubota is the male protagonist of the Japanese romance comedy anime and manga series Tomo-chan Is A Girl. He's the childhood friend of Tomo Aizawa and Misuzu Gundou, the high school friend of Carol Olston, and also Tomo's love interest in the series. Along with Tomo, he's trained at the Aizawa Dojo since he was a child. He's voiced by Kaito Ishikawa in the Japanese version of the anime as a teenagers, Makoto Koichi in the Japanese version of the anime as a child, Ricco Fajardo in the English version of the anime as a teenager, and Dani Chambers in the English version of the anime as a child.

Junichirou Kubota is a tall teenage boy, with short, ear length, slightly unkempt, brown hair, (black in the manga) large, brown eyes, (black in the manga), pale skin, and is almost always seen wearing a white button-up shirt, with a red and white striped tie, that's partially covered by a green shirt, black pants, and brown shoes on his feet.
Personality[]
When Jun is around Tomo Aizawa, he is playful, slightly aggressive and somewhat clingy toward her that Misuzu Gundou remarks that he only really smiles when he's around Tomo. However, when he's without Tomo, according to Misuzu , Junichirou comes off as cool and aloof to the rest of the school's population (which makes him popular among girls). He rarely smiles and seems to be easily bored.
