"With God's help, little guys can do BIG things, too!"
- Junior proving that with God's help, little people can do big things as well. Junior Asparagus is the deuteragonist of the VeggieTales franchise, also as the main protagonist in occasion episodes. He is a friend of Larry the Cucumber, and Bob the Tomato.
Junior was voiced by his original voice actor, Lisa Vischer, wife of the creator of VeggieTales, Phil Vischer, and is currently voiced by Tress MacNellie in the Netflix series.
Appearance
Junior, like most Vegetables, have white eyeballs with black pupils. He has green hair and his body is green, even his nose. He wears a yellow-red cap in a tilted direction. (He doesn't wear his cap in some episodes)
He is sometimes seen wearing his shirt, which is a polo with red-white stripes.
Since VeggieTales In The House, he no longer wears his cap, and like the other Veggies, he gains eye colors. His eye colors are amber.
Trivia
- He somewhat seems to have a resemblance to Ness from the Nintendo game EarthBound: They both are kids. They both have courage and self-esteem. They both go on adventures. They both wear striped shirts and caps.
