Juste Belmont is the main protagonist of 2002 GBA action adventure Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. The great grandson to the legendary Simon Belmont, a royal and young prodigy of combat, he is fated to encounter the dark count once again when his friend went missing with no sight to be seen.
He is voiced by Tadasuke Omizu in the Japanese version of the game.
History[]
Background[]
With the Belmont's now regarded as heroes, Juste was given the advantage of being surronded with friends at a young age. He befriended Maxim Kischine and Lydie Erlanger, a person who seems to have deep connection with. He was granted the Vampire Killer at the age of 16, but then heard the sudden case of Lydie's missing.
Juste and Maxim set out to look for her in hopes that they can discover what truly happened behind the shadows.
Harmony of Dissonance[]
By the time of the game, Juste found himself by a collapsed castle once belonged to the dark lord. He advances inside with the aid of his friends and battles several demons, while at the same time found it odd that his friend Maxim personality seems to change at times with no actual explainations given. Eventually, Juste discover the origin of Maxim continutious decline mentally: The young boy was jealous of Juste's succession and wanted desire to resurrect Dracula's in hope of proving himself to be Juste equal.
Juste was given a bracelet in order for him to take tracks of the former friend, as he enter further to the castle and battles Death himself, who reveals his intentions to completely eradicate Maxim's personality from his body. Juste defeats Death as he accumulates Dracula's remains, which are scattered throughout the castle. In the center of the castle, he finds Maxim with an unconscious Lydie.
In Juste's final confrontation with the wraith of Dracula, his battle will determine different ends with fate:
Dissonance[]
Juste failed to save either of his friends and becomes a broken and tragic figure as the guilt overwhelm him. The once innocent hero becomes a conflicted survivors despite his efforts in succeeding to defeat the count.
Harmony[]
Juste is forced to kill Maxim's through Dracula, yet nevertheless managed to rescue Lydie. She tells him to not blame himself for Maxim's death as what he has done is only what he have to do to stop the count.
True[]
Juste managed to kill the spirit of Dracula through Maxim's body and save both of his two best friends as everyone escape from the collapsing broken castle. Juste hold Lydie dear in his arms while Maxim apologizes to him for what he has done. The three embraced one another and embark on a journey to return home.

- The basis for Juste's in the Netflix version took after his Harmony route, abeit a different killer but shared the same impact. He also married Lydie as well.
- Juste means "righteous" in French.
- Juste seems to be more magic-inheritated than his fellow family members, mostly noticed through his skills in the game.
