Justine Gandy is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Archer Graff) of the 2025 mystery horror film Weapons. She is school teacher who has been accused of her class' vanishing students and goes on a search to find them to prove her innocence.
She is portrayed by Julia Garner.

Justine Gandy is a beautiful young woman with curly blonde hair and glasses. Her vibrant personality shines through her warm smile, and she carries herself with confidence. Justine's style reflects her playful nature, often mixing trendy and classic pieces that enhance her unique charm. She's the kind of person who lights up a room and makes everyone feel at ease.
Personality[]
Justine Gandy is a kind teacher who genuinely cares for her students. She goes above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where they feel safe and supported. When seventeen students went missing, she was falsely accused. Justine has never harmed any of her students, including Alex Lilly, one of her beloved students who wasn't missing.
Despite her compassion and professionalism as a teacher, her personal life stands in contrast. She seems to be an alcoholic and relies heavily on alcohol during any difficult time. She also encourages a former lover, Paul - who is also a recovering alcoholic - to drink with her and end up having a drunken fling, even though he was married (albeit Justine was under the impression they had split). Regardless of ignorance in that case, she had a reputation of being promiscuous.
Her devotion to her students leads her to problems with the faculty as she becomes too emotionally involved in their lives, thus crosses boundaries into a more parental role than teacher. Her desire to care for her students also causes her to go along a mission to find the missing students herself, which puts her at great risk, yet she disregards any threat due to wanting to save her children.
