No. 1 Kabutack is the first of the B-Robots built by Dr. Torahiko Kouenji and the titular main protagonist of B-Robo Kabutack.
He is voiced by Takeshi Kusao.
Biography[]
Kabutack was built by Dr. Torahiko Kouenji as a prototype for his later B-Robots. He was later sent by Dr. Kouenji as a gift to his grandson Yuzuru. After awakening and befriending Yuzuru, Kabutack enlisted his help to find the 13 Star Pieces, each of which could grant a wish if found. Along the way, Kabutack and Yuzuru befriended Yuzuru's class president Kuranosuke Kichijouji and his B-Robot Kuwagiro. They also encountered opposition from the Enemy B-Robots led by Cobrander, who were seeking the Star Pieces in order to use them to rule over Earth.
Kabutack and Yuzuru found the first Star Piece attached to a moving truck. They wanted to use it to wish for Yuzuru's parents to allow Kabutack to stay with them, but when the truck was damaged due to the Enemy B-Robots' actions, Kabutack and Yuzuru wished for the truck to be restored so its driver wouldn't lose his job.
They later found what seemed to be another Star Piece attached to the shoe of a fellow classmate of Yuzuru's, but it turned out to be a fake.
