Kado Oquoné was a minor hero of the Rebel Alliance in the Star Wars universe, appearing in Rouge One: A Star Wars Story.
Oquoné was portrayed by Angus Wright.
By 0 BBY, Oquoné was a Captain in the Rebel Alliance, and in command of the Hammerhead class corvette Lightmaker. His ship was one of the corvettes that travelled to Scarif to support Jyn Erso and Rogue One as they attempted to steal the plans to the Death Star from the Galactic Empire.
During the battle Oquoné's ship was badly damaged, and the Lightmaker retreated to the rear to guard the lines of retreat. Needing a way to break the forcefield and take eliminate the two star destroyers guarding the shield gate, Admiral Raddus ordered Oquoné to take the Lightmaker and ram the star destroyer Persecutor in order to push it into the other star destroyer Intimidator.
Oquoné ordered all non-essential personnel to evacuate the Lightmaker. He and a tiny skeleton crew remained on board the Lightmaker while the ship rammed the Persecutor and successfully pushed it in to the Intimidator. The impact destroyed both star destroyers and the wreckage of the ships - with the Lightmaker still wedged into the side of the Persecutor collided with the shield gate. This impact destroyed the shield gate, collapsing the planetary shield.
Oquoné died during the impact with the shield gate. On the flagship Profundity Raddus gave silent thanks to Oquoné and the Lightmaker crew, and swore that some of his great-grandchildren would be named after them.
