Kaede Azusagawa is one of the characters in Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai series, also known as Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. She is the younger sister of Sakuta Azusagawa who suffered amnesia and gained a different personality after her ordeal with Adolescence Syndrome stemming from online bullying. Since then, she has lived with Sakuta and has not attended school.
She is voiced by Yurika Kubo in Japanese and Kayli Mills in English.
Appearance[]
Kaede has medium-length, light brown hair tied at the front in a loose ponytail, and a section of hair on either side is adorned with a tiny pink bow. She also has square fringe and large light brown eyes.
She is usually shown wearing a panda hoodie and a pink shirt underneath. This is primarily due to her insecurity and paranoia as a result of her maturation syndrome.
Personality[]
Before amnesia[]
Kaede initially had a nice but cheeky personality that caused her little difficulty in social interaction. She eventually suffers from it.
During amnesia[]
Since Kaede lost her memories and gained a new personality as a result of the puberty syndrome, she cut herself off from the internet and the outside world in general, and developed a phobia of strangers, as shown during her first meeting with Mai Sakurajima. Kaede is gentle, cheerful, panda-loving and has a strong will to go to school. She is quite attached to her brother and usually relates to herself in the third person.
