Kagari Shirube (識辺かがり, Shirube Kagari?), also known as Princess Zeal (プリンセス・ジール, Purinsesu Jīru?), is one of three main protagonists of Princession Orchestra.
She is voiced by Yuri Fujimoto.
Biography[]
Prior to the events of the series, Kagari is a daughter of a dance choreographer and an internationally acclaimed opera singer, which they're incredibly famous. she became famous and well-known through Alicepia as her parents are with her extraordinary singing and dancing skills. At some point, she was attacked by Jamaock which she later became a Princess and fought against them. She also met Nabiyu, who became her guide.
After going back home from school, Kagari went to a digital world Alicepia to attend for her live show where she's performing her song named Starlight until a group of monsters named Jamaock were sent to attack and terrorize the live stage by Bess. While singing Over the Blaze, Kagari transformed into Princess Zeal and single-handedly fought the rest of Jamaock.
The next morning, Kagari is seen watching both Minamo and Natsu in their class and then walks away while smiling at them. Later when Jamaocks are attacking Natsu and drained her life energy, Zeal and Nabiyu were about to arrive at the scene until they witnessed Minamo gained her own song fragment and transformed into Princess Ripple. Shocked at Ripple's curiosity of what has happened or who's "Princess Ripple" and her difficulties in fighting against Jamaock, Zeal later steps in to defeat and take these monsters down. After defeating the group of Jamaock, she later transform back to normal and revealed herself in front of Minamo, who turns back to normal as well. After she and Nabiyu telling Minamo about the Princesses, Kagari tells Minamo to keep her identity as a Princess a secret for the sake of her family and friends' safety.
The next morning in Alicepia, Kagari became disappointed over her last concert getting cancelled until she discovered a Jamaock went after both Minamo and Natsu. After transforming into Zeal and went to fight against a Jamaock, Minamo steps in and joins the fight as she transformed into Princess Ripple again to fight the monster. When Bess summoned more Jamaock to defeat Ripple, Zeal then proceed to take them all down to allow Ripple to finish off the upgraded ones. Following Jamaock's defeat, Zeal felt relieved that Natsu regained back her conciousness. After turning back to normal, Kagari and Nabiyu explained to Minamo about what the song fragment means. Later, she and Nabiyu are watching both friends hanging out together.
The next morning, Kagari is followed around by Minamo who observed her in order to learn more about being a Princess. After school, Kagari tells Minamo about how she became interested in singing and dancing when she was little, as well as how she became a Princess and eventually met Nabiyu.
Later that night, Kagari was called out to Alicepia by Nabiyu that there's a Jamaock attack and joins with Ripple in fighting them. After Guita summoned a Knight-type Jamaock, Zeal went to save Ripple from being attacked by it and went out to fight it in her place until Ripple blocked the Knight-type's hand blade through Natsu's stolen Musessence from Jamaocks. Zeal finally finished it off with Zeal Rising Volcano. After turning back to normal, Kagari happily agreed to work together with Minamo as partners since they're Princesses and insists of calling by her first name.
That night, Kagari is called by Minamo on her phone where they discussed about Nagase Ichijō and she definitey agreed to see Nagase in a concert held in Alicepia along with Natsu.
The next morning, Kagari is contacted by Nabiyu that there's Jamaock appears in Alicepia. When they arrived in Alicepia, both Kagari and Minamo discovered that Nagase is in blank state due to loss of her Musessence and they transformed into Princesses to fight against the group of Jamaock and defeated them, which brought Nagase's Musessence back to her. However, both were confronted by another of their enemies named Drun as Zeal called him out for his actions and crimes while attempting to justify his actions as "survival". After Drun retreats away, Kagari becomes relieved that Nagase regained her conciousness and told her to get some rest since she cannot perform in such current state. But Nagase, however, seeing her has made her became excitable of meeting her for the first time due to being her biggest fan for so long and agreed to take a rest before dashing away. She and Minamo became even more cautious of their enemies besides Jamaock and vowed that they'll protect Alicepia together until Natsu arrived quickly and seeing them holding their hands in confusion.
The next morning, Kagari and Minamo were worried about Nagase since she doesn't upload any new videos on Alicepia channel despite they've already defeated the Jamaocks before, so they decide to meet up with her after school and listening to her problems ever since the last incident.
Later in Alicepia, they're still worried about Nagase before they discovered that the Jamaocks are showing up again. When they arrived at the scene and discovered that Aiko's Musessence has been taken away by Drun and the Jamaocks, both Kagari and Minamo transformed into Princesses and fought against the Jamaocks. However, they were eventually beaten up and outmatched by Drun and witnessed the song fragment appears inside Nagase, encouraging her to become a Princess and fight by their side, not caring about the difference between what's real or fake. After Nagase transformed into Princess Meteor, they later witnessed her fighting against Drun and a Jamaock. After Drun retreats away and a Jamaock is defeated, both Kagari and Minamo revealed themselves in front of Nagase and offer to work together as partners. They later attend Nagase's concert where she sings "Jinsei wa Nagareboshi Da ☆彡".
When Jamaocks are terrorizing Alicepia, the trio transformed into Princesses to fought them all. After Meteor failed to unleash her special attack Meteor Asteroid Shower, Zeal then reprimands her for this. After defeating the Jamaocks, she and Minamo were invited by Nagase for their hangout to celebrate their victory.
Back to the real world, she and Minamo were taken to karaoke booth as a part of their hangout. After Nagase finished singing, their drinks were ordered with Kagari chose yuzu tea and is convinced to try out Nagase's orange ginger boba lemonade. After the trio exits the karaoke, Kagari and Nagase became impressed with Minamo's singing skills, much to her embarassment. Despite it was Nagase's idea of their date, Kagari doesn't mind about it. After spending on their date eating desserts, shopping, and visiting aquarium, the trio are pretty much having fun and enjoying it until they're contacted by Nabiyu that the Jamaocks are appearing on Alicepia again. After the trio arrived on Alicepia and transformed into Princesses, they went to fought against the group of Jamaocks until Gita summoned a Bishop-type Jamaock. After Meteor incapacitated the Bishop with six glowing sticks, Zeal is about to finish it off until Meteor interrupts and does her part instead. After they transformed back to normal, Kagari and Minamo became happy with Nagase that they got to spend time together.
