Kamisato Ayaka (model name Shirasagi Himegimi) is a support playable character in the 2020 role-playing fantasy game Genshin Impact, serving as the tritagonist of Chapter II of the Archon Quests, being one of the deuteragonists in the first act (alongside Thoma), the main protagonist of her Story Quest, and a major protagonist in the third act and the Hues of the Violet Garden event. She is one of the prominent leaders of House Kamisato and the oldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan. She is the younger sister of Kamisato Ayato. She was initially released on the first Closed Beta Test in 2019, but was not released in the launch date until Update 2.0.
She is voiced by Xiao N in Chinese, Saori Hayami in Japanese, Erica Mendez in English, and Lee Yu-ri in Korean. Saori also voiced Shinobu Kocho in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Kokoro in Darling in the Franxx, Yumeko Jabami in Kakegurui, Miyuki Shiba in The Irregular at Magic High School, Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov in Youjo Senki: Saga of Tanya the Evil, Shirayuki in Snow White with the Red Hair, and Yor Forger in Spy x Family. Appearance[]
Ayaka is a beautiful young woman with icy blue hair styled in a ponytail held in place with a black and gold headpiece resembling a crown. Her forelocks have thin pink ribbons tied around them and her eyes are grey-blue. Her dress is black with gold details around the top and midnight blue at the skirt with white flowers and a single black and beige wave pattern. Her dress has a blue bow in the back and a thin ribbon around her waist matching the ones around her forelocks. Her sleeves are large and light blue she wears black gloves that are fingerless apart from her thumbs. She wears a gold necklace and dark blue shoes light blue and pink bows on top of her white socks. She is generally seen with a yellow and blue fan in hand. She also has a mole (or beauty mark) underneath her left eye.
Personality[]
Ayaka is very kind and caring. She's very polite and gentle with other people and is endlessly loyal towards her people. She's also very refined and sophisticated, generally speaking in a very serene and soft manner and even her battle style reflects this aspect of her personality, mainly consisting of graceful movements and hit-and-run techniques as well as quick dashes. Due to her high status in the Kamisato Clan and her general ladylike personality, Ayaka is seen by her people as a model of perfection. In spite of her seemingly having everything she could ever want as a result of her wealth, Ayaka's is secretly lonely and wishes for friends of her own more than anything, it is also hinted that she has a romantic feeling for the Traveler.

- Ayaka's birthday is September 28, sharing the same date as Genshin Impact's release date.
- In addition to this, she is the first character to be coded in the game, appearing in as early as the CBT1 build.
- Along with Lisa Minci, Kamisato Ayaka is the first character who has adopted a foreign attire to their homeland.
- Ayaka adopts a Fontainian attire while Lisa adopts a Sumeru attire.
- However, as an Inazuman Mondstadter, her subordinate Thoma combines both nations' attires.
