Kao the Kangaroo is the titular main protagonist of the video game series of the same name. He is an anthropomorphic kangaroo with a boxer outfit who always fights against the evil Hunter Barnaba to save his animal friends from their imprisonment.
Physical Description[]
He is a little kangaroo with a yellow-fur tone. He has a pointy nose, big eyes that are on the top of his head and long thin ears.
In the first game, he is completely "naked" and has shorter legs, a clear yellow fur and a pouch for some reason. He is also portrayed less human and more animalistic.
In the second game however, he has a "boxer outfit" that consists out of big punching gloves with a red color and flame-design on it, blue-white shorts with his name on it and green-white-red-blue sneakers.
In the 2022 game, he got a complete redesign. He has eyes that aren't on top of his head, and they are light blue, his nose is larger and less pointy, his ears are even bigger and larger, he has a clump of hair on the top of his head, he has red box gloves, without the flame-design, he doesn't have his sneakers anymore and is now bare foot and his shorts are more old-fashioned and bluer and have a kind of brown rope as a belt.
Personality[]
Kao is shown to be very kind, selfless and calm. However, he seems to be a little bit childish because in the second game he scares the player when you don't move him around for some time. He is a real hero who would risk his life to save his animal friends from his archenemy, Barnaba. Mostly, Kaos personality is not that well-developed, because she rarely talks and mostly just does what he thinks is the right thing to do. In the first game, it is shown that he is quite forgiving and decides together with his family and friends to free the defeated Hunter Barnaba, even after what he did to them all. However, he can be fiery if he is provoked too much as seen in the second game when the Bossman wants money from him and doesn't let him thru without it. After he gives him the money, Kao is a little bit angry and tells him the opinion.
Biography[]
In the first game, Kao and his kangaroo friends are captured by Hunter Barnaba, who interrupts their peaceful life. But Kao is able to free himself and goes on an adventure to save his family and friends from the evil hunter. After he defeats the hunter and frees his friends and family, they capture the hunter and let him taste something of his own medicine and the peace is restored again. But Kao and the others even forgive the hunter after all he did to them, and they let him go.
In the second game, Kao is seen to be already captured by Hunter Barnaba and being hold on a pirate ship. He is freed by the parrot and escapes. After he sees that the hunter captured and enslaved many other animals, he decides to rescue them and defeat the evil hunter.
