The Karaba is an Earth-based resistance movement formed to oppose the Titans in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
History[]
The Karaba movement emerged on Earth as a rag tag movement formed to oppose the tyranny of the corrupt Titans elite force set up by the Earth Federation. They were allied with the Anti-Earth Union Group, a resistance movement against the Titans that operated in space. Their leader was Hayato Kobayashi and their key members included Amuro Ray, veteran of the One Year War and Gundam pilot.
The Karaba later took part in helping the AEUG occupy the Earth Federation Assembly in Dakar so Char Aznable could deliver his famous televised speech exposing the brutality of the Titans.
In the First Neo Zeon War, the Karaba took part in combating the Neo Zeon force led by Haman Karn that sought to conquer the entire Earth Sphere. By this point, most of its members had gone to join the AEUG to fight Neo Zeon in space and by the end of the conflict the Karaba was wiped out.
