Kasumi Kinugawa (鬼怒川カスミ in Japanese) is one of the characters in the 2021 roleplay game Blue Archive who studies at Gehenna Academy and wields a Flamethrower. She is the president of the Hot Spring Development Department, a club that, as the name implies, develops hot springs. True to the club's name, Kasumi loves developing hot springs.
She first appeared as one of the antagonists in the "Momoyodou Beach Bar Franchising Plan" side event before she turned into a protagonist later into the story. However, she appeared as the main antagonist of the "Trip-Trap Train" side event. She also appeared as a supporting protagonist in the second chapter of the main story's final volume, "Where All Miracles Begin".
Personality[]
As expected of the Hot Spring Development Department's president, Kasumi extremely loves developing hot springs like her life depends on it. She is always on the lookout for any possible locations for a hot spring, whether it's in frigid areas or areas unusual for a hot spring. Her belief is that any location can be a hot spring location, and if it is not possible, the club will just blow up the place. She will go through extreme measures for the sake of hot spring development, which is what gained the respect of all the club's members.

Kasumi's surname "Kinugawa" is a reference to Kinugawa Hot Springs, located in Nikkou, Japan.
