Katana (real name: Tatsu Yamashiro) is a supporting heroine character of the 2019 reboot series DC Super Hero Girls.
She was voiced by Rina Hoshino.
Personality[]
A warrior from Japan, with a harsh code of justice, believing more in the punishment of criminals, rather than simple prevention.
She highly enjoys training, which is a reason she bonds with Diana Prince; both respecting and thrilled by each step of becoming and being a warrior.
Despite her initial severity, her strong belief in honour allows her to learn a more compassionate methodology due to finding a kindred spirit in Diana, understanding that someone as honourable as her would have a valid opinion; aided to her reform was also friendship with her and the other Super Hero Girls.
While brave, she is sensitive to supernatural phenomena, becoming terrified by ghosts and spirits; although, if the supposed ghost can be countered, she returns to her usual fearlessness.
Appearance[]
In "Soul Sisters Part 1/2" She's used to appear as a normal teenager/student and a best friend of Diana Prince. She's also made another appearance of herself as a Superhero and try to eliminate all Villains with her sword, "The Soul Taker"
Biography[]
Soul Sisters Part 1 and 2[]
Katana first appears where she took the soul of an unnamed criminal. later at the fencing club, she quickly bonds over their enjoyment after meeting Diana.
Scrambled Eggs[]
She was found again. She's trying to win an Egg Quiz. Unfortunately, she or everyone else didn't win because they failed but Poison Ivy (another name: Unknown) wants to fail and she successfully failed one of someone's egg quiz
(SoulTaker)[]
It was the same episode as Soul Sisters but everything went different in the episode. Harley Quinn stole the sword and try to run away from her and Katana successfully got it as Harley Quinn give it because she wants the Mallet instead.
