Kate (known as Flo in non-English dubs) is the main protagonist of Puppy in My Pocket: Adventures in Pocketville. She is a 10-year-old (later 11) human girl who is the owner of Magic, her faithful German Shepherd companion hailing from Pocketville.
In the series, just after her move to the Big City, she is accidentally teleported to Pocketville after an incident caused by Eva and her gang, taking the place of Princess Ava. Thus, she must carry on Ava’s duties in her place, especially the Friendship Ceremony, the important task of matching lonely children in her city with new pets from the Pocket Kingdom.
Kate eventually takes up ownership of the Royal Collar and one half of the Friendship Heart after the jewel split in two, with the other half in Eva’s possession. Whenever she wears the collar, which takes the form of a bracelet, she can understand animals.
She and Magic, with the help of the Royal Guards, venture all over the Pocket Kingdom in search of the ideal pet for any child in need, a Magic Drop needed for the Friendship Ceremony, and retrieving the other half of the Friendship Heart, while Kate and Magic themselves search for Princess Ava when in the Big City.
She is voiced by Debora Magnaghi in the original Italian dub, Katie McGovern in the prototype English dub, Julie-Ann Dean in the official UK dub, and Stephanie Sheh in the official US dub.

Kate is olive-skinned with freckles on her cheeks, blonde hair that reaches below her shoulders, and light blue eyes. Her main outfit consists of a pale pink elbow-sleeved shirt with a pink-and-orange camisole with a yellow paw print, khaki pants, and orange sneakers.
Personality[]
Despite her young age, Kate is very intelligent and has an incredible sense of justice, confidence, and determination, which she shows throughout her quests with Magic and the Royal Guards. She would always make sure Princess Ava is returned back to Pocketville and the Friendship Heart to be pieced back together, no matter how tough the situation gets.
She is also incredibly brave in the face of danger, especially when dealing with the Pet Buster and getting into Eva’s traps.
Kate is cheerful and friendly to nearly everyone she meets, from other students in her class to many pets of the Pocket Kingdom, but will not hesitate to get very serious whenever she encounters Eva and her gang.
