Katsumi Minato is one of two main protagonists (alongside with his younger brother) of Ultraman R/B. He is the human host of Ultraman Rosso.

Background[]
Katsumi Minato is the oldest of the Minato family's children. He has an adoptive sister named Asahi and a younger brother named Isami. Katsumi chose to assist his father, Ushio Minato, operate the family apparel company Quattro M. instead of pursuing his ambition of becoming a professional baseball player when his mother, Mio Minato, vanished for no apparent reason. His commitment to his family and his duty as the oldest kid are demonstrated by this choice.
The Beginning of Ultraman[]
The Grigio Bone monster attacks Katsumi and Isami on the birthday of his mother, who has gone missing. They were given the R/B Gyro and R/B Crystal, which enabled them to change into Ultraman Blu and Ultraman Rosso in this perilous circumstance. Katsumi was first reluctant to take on the job of Ultraman, but after confronting the Black King monster and understanding how important it was, he and his brother made the decision to defend the city of Ayaka.
