Katsuyori Takeda is a supporting character in the Samurai Warriors series. He is one of the sons of Shingen Takeda.

He was voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto.

History[]

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada[]

Katsuyori is one of his father's commanders as well as a best friend of Masayuki. Due to his bravely and respected, he now to following his father loyalty throughout the siege of Takeda, while had been much deep suffered by Shingen's gone. After listening to his father's last words, "To protect the Takeda", Katsuyori ardent to seizing Taketenjin. Even much to that, he fought-off the battle in his deuced and forcing his armies to attacked Nagashino Castle.

So is away, upon his several retainers, Masayuki and his brothers, showed to worried about that Nobunaga lead a massing reinforcements. Despite a stronger assault, the Tokugawa successfully holding the line for the arrival of the Oda. He later against the Tokugawa and Oda with many loyal retainers that loss their lives to the foes riflemen although disagreed Masayuki's advice and believing his power of his cavalry. Katsuyori will flees to the tracking forces and back to Kai, which count the death even after thanks to Masayuki.

Upon apologized to Masayuki for ignore his counsel and the death of his brothers, Katsuyori thinks that is too late about for what his father is not defend their family name, the fact is the retainers serving their clan loyally. The Oda later beginning of their invaded on Kai and the Takeda sway from the losing in Nagashino in which as way, don't protect against the invaders because of the Uesugi's succession crisis was drag on. When Yukimura makes his request to founding the new Iwadono castle, Masayuki decided to leaving for Ueda.

As for on Masayuki's side, Katsuyori makes preparations with takes demand to Masayuki for free to left his territory. Foremost, Katsuyori chosen to go with Yukimura, but in which, having contain the Sanada further with the Takeda's destroyed are not waits. Upon his betrayed, he dies on the conflict as Yukimura wants to deal with the Oda. His death is already reported by Kunoichi, who would hand over his final letter of apology to Masayuki to explained his actions.

Samurai Warriors 5[]

During at the battle of Kawanakajima and Suruga, Katsuyori formed the conflict with his father to attacked the Uesugi. However, on Mikatagahara, he feeling that something by let his father being tumultuous, and his father warning him that the Takeda is only at its summit under Shingen, and no other.

After his father dead, Katsuyori replacing him and stand up to the Oda in Nagashino. He gain a letter letter from Nobuyasu Matsudaira with an invited into Mikawa. Later on, he got permission to defeat the Tokugawa forces in therefore, Ieyasu killed his son for traitorousness.

Upon his withdrawn, the Takeda often beaten from all side by the Tokugawa and Oda forces with retainers to have a problem of Katsuyori's capability. Eventually arriving on Takatenjin Castle, Katsuyori then help Motonobu Okabe caused to wide desertions. By the way, Katsuyori trying to protect Shinpu Castle upon the defection of his retainers leaving him trapped at Mt. Tenmoku.

As Iwadono Castle is closed, he was killed by Ieyasu and Nobunaga.
