Kelleran Beq is a recurring character in the Star Wars franchise, serving as the main protagonist of Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge and a flashback character in Season 3 of The Mandalorian.
He is a Jedi Master and one of the few survivors of Order 66, and notably was the Jedi that saved the life of Grogu during the purge on the Jedi Temple.
He is portrayed by Ahmed Best, who also portrayed Jar Jar Binks.
Biography[]
Kelleran Beq is a wise Jedi Master, he trained several Jedi at a young age and became recognised due to his wisdom and immense connection with the force. Kelleran's wisdom and courage is truly presented during the events of Order 66, where he takes matters into his own hands in order to rescue Grogu. Whilst carrying out the escape mission, Kelleran displayed his skill wielding two lightsabers and easily defeating six clone troopers. Beq and Grgou then make their leave and take away on a speeder.
Both are later accompanied by Naboo Security Forces, a ship awaits them and the two take off to safety before escaping Coruscant.
Personality[]
Kellran Beq is a nurturing mentor to young Jedi. Beq is revealed as Grogu's saviour during Order 66, showcasing his bravery and commitment to the Jedi Order. He escapes Coruscant, alongisde Grogu and with the assistance of Royal Naboo Guards. Kellrean is willing to stay behind and fight alongside them, however the guards insist he leaves and continues his escape mission.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Force Mastery: Beq has a strong connection to the force. His wisdom combines well with his knowledge and strength attached to the force.
- Lightsaber Mastery: Kelleran's skill with a lightsaber is superior to several others. He was able to defeat six clone troopers with two sabers, deflecting their blasters and taking them down with ease. The name, 'Sabered Hand' was given to Beq due to his speciality of wielding two sabers at a time.
- Skilled Pilot: Kellaren is a skilled pilot, capable of escaping Coruscant during his rescue mission.
