Kensi Marie Blye is one of the main protagonist of the CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles.
Biography[]
Kensi was first introduced in "NCIS" episode "Legends", a backdoor pilot for NCIS: Los Angeles.
During the first season, she is partnered with Dominic Vail until his abduction. She was later partnered with LAPD detective Marty Deeks before he leaves to undergo an undercover assignment for the police force. At the end of the season, she and the team found Dominic was still alive and tried to save him but he died in the rescue mission.
In season two, she was once again partnered with Deeks after she and the team save him on his assignment.
In the third season double episodes, "Blye, K" and "Blye, K (2)", Kensi investigates the circumstances regarding her father's death. Kensi discovered he was actually murdered by his commanding officer Peter Clairmont. She also learned that her parents separated because they feared Clairmont would come for them, this left her shocked because she cut ties with her mother for this. At the end, she face Clairmont and succeeded in beating him down but spared him only for Granger to kill him after Clairmont made a final attempt on him. It is also revealed that Granger and her father were friends.
During Season 5, she makes a rival with DEA agent Talia Del Campo over Deeks.
In the Season 13 finale, she and Deeks succeed in adopting a teenage girl and their gathered friends congratulate them.
