Kevin Sydney is a fictional character that has been a member of the X-Men in comic book stories published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Werner Roth, the character first appeared in X-Men #35 (August 1967).

He was second in command of Factor Three, a terrorist organization of mutants bent on world conquest. Banshee was a member of the team at one time. Ultimately, though he aided the X-Men in defeating the conspiracy's leader, who turned out to be an alien being. But then the Changeling was discovered that he was dying from a fatal illness and wished to atone for his sins the Changeling sought out Charles Xavier who had a task for him.
Xavier asked the Changeling to impersonate him while he secretly prepared a defense against alien invaders. As Xavier the Changeling died heroically helping the X-Men stop their enemy from destroying the planet. Wearing another man's face, the Changeling had found redemption at last.
