King Katuunko was the supporting character of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He was the King of Toydaria, who attempted to keep his world neutral in the Clone Wars. He eventually sided with the Republic after seeing firsthand how the Jedi and the Clone Army could protect his people.
History[]
King Katuunko first appeared when Asajj Ventress came to recruit him to the Separatists. He would join only if Yoda got a fair fight. However that was never her intention. Yoda beat the droids easily and saved the king from getting killed by Ventress after the king intends that he will join the Republic. Katuunko told Yoda it was an honor to meet him. He is later shown getting attacked by Savage Opress in his room and is saved by Obi-Wan and Anakin. But sadly the king is killed and his corpse is taken to Dooku.
Personality[]
Initially, Katuunko declared Toydaria a neutral party in the Clone Wars, but changed his mind after giving aid to the besieged people of Ryloth, and after Yoda prevailed against Ventress and a legion of battle droids, he threw his lot in with the Republic. His number one priority is the safety of his people, which is why he initially tried to stay neutral during the war. However, Katuunko was unable to sit by and watch the suffering caused by the Separatists and eventually decided to side with the Republic to help the people of the galaxy.
