Peppy, also referred to as King Peppy, is the overarching protagonist of the Trolls franchise. He is the retired king of the Pop Trolls and Poppy and Viva's father.

King Peppy always had a round build since his daughter was a baby, but was able to pull off impressive stunts. However, when Chef kidnaps Poppy's friends, he admits he can't go after them because he's not as young as he used to be.
Personality[]
King Peppy always takes the welfare of his people his number one priority. He also shows a great care for his daughter, as the prologue of the movie showed him carrying a baby Poppy while leading the other Trolls away from the Bergens. His heroism and valor were the stuff of Troll legend. Quick with inspirational words of wisdom, King Peppy ushered in a new era of happiness and security in Troll Village. Now it’s 20 years later, and King Peppy has become a grandfatherly elder statesman to the Trolls.
