The Kintobor Computer, also known as simply Kintobor, is a supporting character in the Sonic the Comic comic book series. He is an A.I. copy of the original Dr. Kintobor, created during the same freak accident that transformed his template into Dr. Robotnik. Since then, he has continuously supported Sonic and the Freedom Fighters in their fight against villains.
Appearance[]
When the Kintobor Computer is active, he projects either a hologram or a 2D-image of his organic template's head, depending on what hardware he's currently on, and uses it to converse with others.

Past[]
When ROCC exploded, it somehow caused Dr. Kintobor's brainwaves to be imprinted onto one of the Golden Rings of Mobius. Porker Lewis managed to transfer said ring's data into a computer program sharing the memories and personality of the doctor, who had been transformed into the evil Ivo Robotnik, marking the birth of the Kintobor Computer.
Sonic the Comic[]
In early days, the Kintobor Computer remained in the Freedom Fighters' secret base, monitoring the situation across the planet to assist his allies. When the group's hiding place was uncovered, Kintobor escaped with them. Eventually, he was reestabilished in the Freedom Fighters' new base in the Emerald Hill Zone, and upgraded to be able to monitor every zone on Mobius.
Eventually, Grimer, who at that point pretended to be imprisoned, hacked into the Kintobor Computer, and made him attack Sonic in a Badnik body. Eventually, he was defeated and rebooted, but not without Grimer installing spy software meant to monitor Sonic for him, though it ultimately seemed to have given him little advantage.

Act 1[]
After the original comic's events, Kintobor Computer continued to assist the Freedom Fighters in their missions and morally support them when he felt like they were drifting apart. After they estabilished a base under Buddy's Bistro, Kintobor was moved there as well.
When Robotnik reverted into the original Ovi Kintobor for the second time, he finally got the chance to meet his digital clone, and got along with him. Eventually, the two merged into one being, sharing one body and two sets of memories, making the resulting Kintobor feel like he never became Robotnik in the first place. It's currently unknown what happened to Kintobor Computer's conciousness after the doctor turned back into Robotnik to prevent the Chaos Tap from destroying Mobius.
Exit: Sonic[]
A year prior to the events of the story, Sonic moved Kintobor Computer to the Angel Island. At some point, he adopted the appearance and personality of Dr. Ivo Robotnik, believing himself to be him, for unknown reasons. The original Kintobor, who had finally regained control of his body, watched as the corrupted computer lashed out at him before muting the program and shutting it down, presumably forever.
Personality[]
Kintobor Computer is similar in personality to the original Kintobor, being a kindly individual and having a friendly relationship with Sonic and other Freedom Fighters.
