Kirara is a supporting and playable character from the fantasy action role-playing game Genshin Impact. She is a nekomata with the ability to take the form of a young girl, and a courier of Komaniya Express with a reputation as one of the best workers of the company. Her eagerness to deliver packages and the effort she puts into doing so has earned her the title Gold Level Courier.
Kirara is voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro in Japanese who also voices Hanya from Honkai: Star Rail, Shinigami from Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, Noa Ushio from Blue Archive and Renee Costa from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. Her English voice actor is Julia Gu who voiced as Toph Beifong from Avatar: The Last Air Bender in the SMITE crossover.
Appearance[]
Kirara is a slim, fair-skinned girl with ash blonde hair in tufts, much of it tied into a high ponytail and a long ahoge that sticks up in middle. She has bright green eyes with vertical slit shaped pupils, similar to those of cats. As a nekomata, she has a pair of two-toned cat tails while in her feline form.
Personality[]
Kirara is very passionate about her job at Komaniya Express and as such, is very curious about the world outside Teyvat and the people who live in it. She enjoys meeting and talking to new people, treating them as outings at her own expense. Thanks to being mostly clueless about the outside world, she's generally quick to mistake fellow magic-wielders or people with non-human features to be fellow youkai, such as Diona Kätzlein and Lynette Snezhevna for such traits respectively. Kirara also takes her job very seriously and goes to great lengths to ensure that her customers all have pleasant experiences. Her most frequent worry is the prospect of being fired, with her additionally having to return to the wilds if such a thing ever happens, which she refers to as "boring".
Being a nekomata, Kirara has numerous feline instincts like sunbathing on rooftops, sleeping in boxes, and pouncing on small animals, all of which she often finds herself having to repress while keeping up her act as a human.
