Kisshōten is one of Shintoism's most treasured gods/goddesses and one of Japan's seven lucky gods.

Inspirations.

Kisshōten was adapted from the Hindu goddess Lakshmi as they both are considered the goddesses of Happines Fertility and Beauty. Kisshōten is also considered the female equivalent of Krishna as they have much in common: both names start with the letter K, and have the sh sounds in them. Kisshōten can also be considered a reincarnation of Amaterasu whereas Krishna is a reincarnation of the god Vishnu.
