Kissing Zoa Nebulis IX is a former antagonist turned heroine of Our Last Crusade, or the Rise of a New World.
She was voiced by Konomi Kohara in Japanese and Bryn Apprill in English.
Overview[]
She is the only princess of the Nebulis Sovereignty's royal family from the Zoa Family. She was raised and trained fiendishly by her uncle, On.
After her uncle On was placed on a comatose from Elletear's betrayal as well her second defeat by the former Saint Disciple, Iska, she served under Iska in exchange to kill Elletear for her treacherous towards the Nebulis Sovereignty (though Iska has no intention to kill Elletear). Despite Iska agreed, but he refused to kill Elletear.
Personality[]
Kissing is shown to be emotionless but speaking in a monotone voice just like a puppet. She seemed to have a speech disorder while unable to voice her thoughts. Despite of it, she cares for her people very much when she warned her allies to duck from her thorns.
From the fiendish training under her uncle On, Kissing became predisposed towards suicidal tactics, being able to execute them without hesitation. When she detonated the Imperial missile above her and Iska, it would've took only a single mistake to kill them both, yet she carried it out as if she wouldn't fail. When asked about who trained her in this despicable way, Kissing showed perhaps the most emotions in their entire encounter, becoming agitated and using her powers indiscriminately, unlike the restraint shown before.
However, when her uncle On was placed in a coma by the traitorous Elletear Lou Nebulis IX, Kissing shown to be miserable when she is lonely and trauma, crying from her uncle's comatose. She became unstable when she began to go on a rampage at the Central Base by her misery until she was defeated by Iska the second time.
After her second defeat by Iska, Kissing became honorable when she accepted her defeat at the hands of the former Saint Disciple and reveal she was testing his strength, knowing he is powerful. She decided to serve under Iska in exchange to kill Elletear Lou Nebulis IX for her betrayal upon her family and their home nation. Much like Aliceliese and Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX, Kissing also developed an interest on Iska. When going on a mission to destroy the Great Star Disaster and defeat the traitor Elletearn, Kissing shown to be clingy and bolded when she is riding on Iska's back while he is crossing the uninhabited swamp much of Alice's jealousy.
Abilities and Powers[]
- Thorns: Kissing's deadly astral power. She can erase anything in her path with thorns. She can restore erased thorns. She can inflict even the Imperial missile. However, this ability cannot break Iska's Astral Swords (originally belong to Crosswell)
- Astral Spirit Visualization: Kissing use her eyes to see the form of the Astral Spirits within people. She shown horrified when she sees through Elletear's monstrous powers.

Iska[]
Iska was originally Kissing's enemy when he fought and defeated her in his mission to rescue Mismis. When she went on a rampage after her uncle On Zoa Nebulis was in coma by Elletear, Iska fought and defeated her in their rematch. After her second lost in her rematch against Iska, she accepted her defeat at his hands when she is only testing his strength, knowing he is very powerful. She declared that she will serve under him in exchange to help her getting revenge on Elletear for her betrayal. Kissing shown her persistence attempts to Iska as she realized that Iska refused to kill Elletear despite what she did. Like Alice and Sisbell, Kissing developed an interest on Iska. She rode on Iska's back to cross the inhabited swamp filled with corrupted Astral Spirits. Kissing refused to get off of Iska, much annoyance to Alice.
Rivals[]
May[]
Kissing and the third seat of the Saint Disciples, May developed a rivalry when they fought against each other in the paradise of the Nebulis Sovereignty. Two days later after the Eight Great Apostles' death, Kissing and May placed their rivalry aside and willing to work together to defeat Elletear and destroy the Great Star Disaster (though it would mean that Kissing will lose her powers).

Elletear is her archenemy who placed her uncle On Zoa Nebulis in a comatose.
During the chaos in the Heavenly Empire, Kissing became terrified when seeing Elletear's monstrous form and learned she is the traitor. Her hatred towards Elletear is stronger than her hatred towards the Heavenly Empire when she decided to serve under Iska to take down Elletear.
