Playtime Co. Experiment-1172: Kissy Missy is the tritagonist of the indie horror video game franchise, Poppy Playtime.
She is a gigantic version of the toy created by Playtime CO., which was created a year after Huggy Wuggy was due to the toy's massive success. She is first seen on a few posters in Chapter 1, before making a physical appearance in Chapter 2 as a minor ally, later becoming the tritagonist of Chapter 3 and a major character in Chapter 4.
She is voiced by Emily Frongillo.
Personality[]
Unlike almost all of the other toys in the factory, who are very hostile to those who enter, Kissy Missy appears to be sweet and helpful towards the Intruder, assisting them both in the second and third chapters.
Biography[]
Past[]
Kissy Missy was largely housed in Storage B, but Playtime Co. produced her experiment form in the winter of 1991 as part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. An modified, restricted tape captures what happened on August 8, 1995. The recording continually says to free Kissy later on, having stated at the beginning that it has been edited by a third party. Kissy was loaded onto a cargo train that day in compliance with the Bigger Bodies Contingency Plan in order to be moved to Playcare. But as the train accelerated on the way there, she was unexpectedly freed from the straps, and a few seconds later, The Hour of Joy happened. Kissy Missy chases after a worker who escaped from her after taking out two of the workers who were handling her. She is drenched in blood and is back in her original position at 11:14 AM.
Chapter 1[]
Her poster can be found in-game.
Chapter 2[]
She briefly appears and encounters the player, and opens a door for them before departing.
Chapter 3[]
She is seen looking at a photo of a young girl in Home Sweet Home, ignoring the Intruder.
She tries lunges at the Intruder and is presumably about to kill them, only to be stopped by Poppy Playtime who explains they are an ally in stopping the Prototype. Kissy then loses her hostility and helps Poppy and the Intruder, carrying Poppy on her shoulder for the majority of the time. She helps the duo descend but then a loud thud and screech is heard, leaving her fate unknown.
Chapter 4[]
Poppy leaves the Intruder to save Kissy. She managed to get to Kissy and saved her but she suffered a great deal, her right side was horribly burned and her arm had to be put in a sling. They were chased by The Prototype down into the prison until they managed to hide from him and reunited with and saved the Intruder. They managed to reach The Safe Haven, where Kissy would soon be treated for her injuries. She isn't seen until near the end of the chapter, where she and Kissy are hiding in a vent after The Prototype destroyed the Safe Haven and the Intruder kills Doey. Ollie is revealed to be The Prototype and says he is coming to their location, Poppy runs away in fear of getting put back her case while a despondent Kissy Missy watches her. The Prototype then sets off the explosives he stole in an attempt to kill the Intruder and Kissy. Kissy manages to grab the intruder before they fall, but her right arm tears off due to the injuries she sustained and the intruder falls. Her fate is left unknown.
