Kleene Rutherford is a former antagonist who became a supporting character in the anime/manga Edens Zero. She is the younger sister of Kris Rutherford and was only a member of the Crew of Edens temporarily, making her really like the crew. After her mind was healed and Weisz Steiner defeating Müller, they both join the crew, both having the title Wind of Edens. She is a former member of the Element 4, one of Drakken Joe's special forces, having the codename Sylph.
Appearance[]
Kleene is a young women who is around average height. She has short green hair that is a bob with a small bun. She wears two electronic hair clips on each side of her hair, being able to show her emotions. She also has slanted red eyes. She wears a plain light-colored dress with spaghetti straps with black-striped sleeves around her arms and black strips. As a member of the Element 4, she has wing-like dark-colored tattoos on each sides of her arms.
As she got older, her hair grew longer, but still having the bun, becoming more well-endowed, and became more curvaceous. She also currently wears a bodysuit.
Personality[]
Kleene was first introduced to be rather emotionless, barely ever showing and having emotions, only ever showing her emotions through her electronic hair clips. The only time she has ever really showed emotion was when she is shocked. Due to her tragic past with Müller dismembering her brother from limb to limb, she now has a unique disorder that causes her to break down after high emotional events. Her hair clips can make her surpass her emotions, showing that her failure would led Drakken Joe to absorb her.
Though she may appear emotionless, she is actually very sensitive and pretty easy-going, having a very caring side, especially if it has to do something with her brother. She really likes the crew, and would miss the crew if she and her brother left. She's in the desire to try out fun things such as having Hermit Mio allow her to dress her up in the Dress Factory and wanting to go with the crew to the beach in Red Cave. She is also willing to forgive others and was able to forgive Homura Kōgetsu for hurting, even tell Jinn to forgive Homura as well.
After being healed by Sister Ivry, she is now able to express her emotions without breaking down, more often smiling and now can get along with the crew. She is really into cute things as well, even keeping her hair clips though she doesn't necessary need them anymore.
