Knov is one of the major characters within the Chimera Ant arc in the Hunter x Hunter series. He is one of the leading members that help exterminate the Chimera Ants. But after the birth of the king, their plans change to exterminate the King and his royal guards due to how big of a threat they became.
He is voiced by Grant George in the English dub, (who voiced Shuichi Saihara, King Monkey, Ant-Man (Scott Lang), and Uzu Sanageyama). and Shin-ichiro Miki in the Japanese dub.
Appearance[]
Knov appears to be a normal man wearing an average black suit and angular glasses. Later in the story, Knov develops white hair and then later becomes bald due to his anxiety but he later wears an orange cap.
Personality[]

From his first appearance, Knov is shown to be a serious man that takes his job very seriously but has slight sense of arrogance. When he confronts Killua, he called him and Gon as children, suggesting that he is not taking them seriously. Besides this, he is very cautious and calm when it comes to danger and is able to keep a level-headed mind set but all is ruined when he sense Shaiapouf's malicious aura. He became filled with anxiety and upset that something so powerful and malicious is in the King's fortress. In his mental breakdown, he could not understand why Gon and Killua keep smiling when facing such danger. Knov is even reminded of his apprentice, Palm Siberia, and is concern for her safety and hopes she makes it out alive, which sadly she doesn't.
Despite his moment of terror, he still persisted on with the plan and shown to be courageous when came to rescue Moral and have his injuries taken care of. By the time of the Chairmen Election arc, he seems to regain much of his confidence and calm demeanor.
