Knuckles the Echidna is a major character in the Sonic Prime television series.
He is a red gullible echidna who is a friend of Sonic the Hedgehog.
He is voiced by Adam Nurada in the English version, and by Nobutoshi Canna in the Japanese version.
Appearance[]
Knuckles is a red-muscled anthropomorphic red echidna with a white stripe across his chest, with a black nose on his peachy muzzle. It also has seven dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of its head and a medium-sized triangular tail. He wears white boxing gloves with two pointed knuckles on each hand, has red and yellow shoes with each with green cuffs, light gray soles, and metal sextuple plates bolted to the top.
History[]
When Eggman launched a recent attack on the island, Knuckles starts to fight against the Badniks. Soon into the fight, Tails finds that the Eggcrusher does not have Eggman inside and tried but to no avail to stop Sonic. Knuckles watches as Sonic smashes the empty robot off the cliff and into the ground. As Tails flies off, Knuckles notices how upset Tails had been due to Sonic not listening.
After it was discovered that a device in the wrecked machine resulted in the blast that resulted in the blast that came from the robot, Knuckles and the team gather at the loop-de-loop where they look at the damage inflicted by the blast on the side of the mountain before Sonic rushes off to collect rings. While Eggman was trying to dislodge the paradox prism from within a cave, Knuckles and the team arrived before Sonic much to how displeased by how late he had been. After Knuckles calls out Sonic for being late, he hears Eggman declare his intent to use the prism to make the world more him. Eggman sends his robots to attack with Amy fighting back and later asking Sonic asking where he was.
When Eggman decides to pull out the prism himself, Amy alongside the other teammates scream for Sonic not to hit the prism, but it was too late and everyone but Sonic and Shadow vanish as a result of him shattering the prism. Later on, Sonic encounters alternate versions of Knuckles such as Renegade Knucks, Gnarly Knuckles, and Knuckles the Dread across the newly formed Shatterverse.
Later, an evil version of Tails named Nine uses his "ghost" from the fractured Green Hill and converted it into an obedient robot version of him named Alpha Grim Knuckles. Luckily, Sonic and Shadow were able to stop Nine and Nine himself helped them return to their world, thus erasing the events of the series, and Knuckles is brought back along with everyone else.
