Koco are creature in Sonic the Hedgehog video games series, first appearance in Sonic Frontiers. They are a mysterious species of stone-like beings that have lived on the Starfall Islands since ancient times and once occupied ruins found on Kronos Island.
Appearance[]
They are small creatures with plants on their heads and resemble Hawaiian rocks. Their eyes have holes that resemble very large pupils and their abilities consist of polymorphism.
Trivia[]
- The design of the Koco are based on Japanese Haniwa. "Haniwa" in Japanse literally translates to "tubes of clay".
- Koco are similar to the Koroks, from The Legend of Zelda series. Their role in gameplay specifically resembles that of the Koroks in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
