Kongqi the "Commander of the Winds," a legendary warrior from the 16th century BCE. Along with his teammates, Shui, Huo and Diqiu, is a member of the House of Ji and is known for his aerokinetic powers, which allow him to control the winds. The character seems to be a version of the Samurai from the Super Friends universe.
History[]
When the Doom Patrol meets Superman and Batman, they show them an ancient scroll that tells the story of the House of Ji warriors from 16th century China, who once battled Nezha. Suddenly, a rift in space-time opens, and Supergirl and Robin are pulled through, finding themselves in the past, where they encounter the warriors of the House of Ji. Initially, the warriors ambush them, mistaking them for enemies. However, after a brief conflict, they help Supergirl and Robin return to their time.
Back in the present, Supergirl and Robin bring vital information about the House of Ji warriors and their past battle with Nezha. With this new alliance, they join forces with the other heroes to face Nezha, who has returned more powerful, threatening Earth once again.
