Koori Ui is a supporting character of the Tokyo Ghoul franchise.
He was a special class Ghoul Investigator and the partner of Hairu Ihei and Kishou Arima.
He was voiced by Yoshinori Fujita in the original and by Makoto Naruse in :re in Japanese and by Chris Burnett in English.
Appearance[]
Koori has sleek, black bob-cut hair that falls neatly around his face, paired with dark brown eyes. His features are notably androgynous, giving him a somewhat feminine appearance.
He also wore the Ghoul Investigator's uniform with a trench coat and a hood during battles.
Personality[]
In the Original series, Koori appears to have a laid-back demeanor. However, during combat, he reveals a more intense side of himself, often driven by underlying tension and unease.
In the time skip, Koori matured significantly and became more open-minded, showing fairness toward both ghouls and humans. Although he initially supported Kichimura's view on the corruption within the C.C.G., he eventually chose to abandon that path and no longer aligned himself with those ideals.
Powers and Abilities[]
Swordsmanship: Koori is highly skilled in the use of his quinque, having enough combat ability to briefly hold his ground against an SSS-rated ghoul.
Taruhi: An A+ rank koukaku Quinque which has halberd like shape.
Ajite: An SS-rated koukaku Quinque he uses.
