Template:ImportantTemplate:Infobox Avatar Korra is the main protagonist of The Legend of Korra (sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender) and is the immediate successor to Avatar Aang, who died at age 66 from a side-effect of being frozen in an iceberg. By the time The Legend of Korra premiered, Korra had already mastered water, earth, and firebending, and wass currently trying to learn airbending from Aang and Katara's youngest son, Tenzin.

She, along with Tenzin, Mako, and Bolin, dealt with an anti-bending revolution from the oppresive Equalists lead by the mysterious masked man called Amon.

Korra later visited her home in the Southern Tribe when it was invaded by the Northern Tribe, led by her uncle Unalaq. When visiting the spirit world, she discovered that he had teamed up with the evil spirit Vaatu in preparation for the Harmonic Convergence. Unalaq merged with Vaatu to become a Dark Avatar and separated Raava from Korra, destroying her memories of her past lives in the process. Korra was able to defeat him and reunited with Raava, although her previous incarnations were still lost.
